Yesterday we toured the Opryland Hotel and went to the Grand Ole Opry. Had a great time! Here is Seth and Lacey riding the boat through the 1/4 mile track inside the Opryland Hotel. This hotel is so large, we got lost numerous times! We ate at Jack Daniels and it was really good, Lacey and I shared ribs and Seth had a really meaty chili and potato wedges which he loved.

The only bummer of the day was that I had a few Joe Bonsall books and he was doing a book signing prior to the show. We missed getting to the Opry for the book signing by just minutes. Boo. Pam Tillis opened the show, we are in the 5th row absolutely center stage - superb seats!

And the classic Little Jimmy Dickens. He was adorable as only he could be. It's hard to believe he is 90 years old. The Grand Ole Opry will never be the same once he is gone.

The Oak Ridge Boys and Larry Gatlin singing Elvira. Richard Sterban actually got so low at one point that the wood pews we were sitting on vibrated. It was creepy low. There were a number of people talking about it when we were leaving the theater. Lacey was surprised at his voice because of course she didn't even know who the Oak Ridge Boys were.

It was a great time, wish we could be here every Friday and Saturday night!
